It can be 3 mBps and then it can drop to zero in a split second, and then it goes back up again and back down. The changes are huge and instantaneous, definitely not how a torrent would normally fluctuate a little and gradual.
This happens to every torrent on transmission, although different torrents seem to drop to zero independent of one another meaning 1 torrent can be zero while others arent zero, and vice versa. I tried running the same torrent using utorrent different save location of course and utorrent does not and never have encountered this issue. I think it's a memory leak related to the UI framework I used.

I have to reboot the app every few days, but I am always running the app with live Torrents. I identified a lot of problems that were causing the downloads to stop. In my case it does not go away by minimizing the app it does get better but still really slow , but changing to another wifi network. It is quite odd because if I change to another networks it works fine, but if I change again to the one I was using before, it drops inmediatly.
I have already checked and it is not a network problem, as other apps like netflix worked with good speed. It is not a router or firewall problem either as the same network works fine downloading torrents with my windows computer.
What even more strange is that the first network is the fast one and the other, as it is my cellphone sharing wifi, has a really slower speed. I'm facing the exact same issue as jpcorreab Any leads on the cause? Hi - still only happens for me when the app is maximised or restored; when minimised the download speeds are blisteringly fast.
I check check occasionally by maximising the app to see how they are going [the speed drops accordingly] then minimise again. Try seeding a little, and see if your torrents start speeding up.
